题 目:Surface interaction control and characterization of micro capsule, fine andnano-particles for various industrial field
摘 要:
Micro-capsule and nanoparticles are now an indispensable material for science and technology such an in materials, pharmaceutical, energy and environmental areas. In 1st topics, for the development of drug delivery systems using particulate matters and microcapsules, the surface interaction between such materials and biological molecule was controlled by surface molecular and nanometer scaled structure design. The interactions between pharmaceutical particulate material and biological molecules such as mucin layers were successfully measured by using colloid probe atomic force microscopy (AFM) under various conditions 1) . Based on the measurement result, our group and co-workers designed surface molecular and nanometer scaled structure to control surface interaction.
In 2nd topic, controlling the dispersion stability of nanoparticles in various liquid media and solid materials, such as polymer resin, is an essential issue to control the properties of the final products. Surface interaction between nanoparticles for dispersion and characterization method such as colloid probe atomic force microscope method will be introduced. Two types of surface modification concepts, post-synthesis surface modification and in-situ surface modification have been investigated in many previous works. We will only focus post-synthesis surface modification by using various kinds of polymer dispersant and surfactant adsorption 2) , and surface chemical reaction of silane coupling agents3) . By using this technology, we are developing advanced polymer composite and Li ion battery.
In final topic, I will introduce ash particle behavior control technology for high efficiency power generation plant of coal, biomass and solid waste combustion and gasification 4) . Fine powder science and technology is important for the development of various industrial fields.
